The IMM program is an advanced executive program designed for experienced professionals who seek to obtain an MBA degree while maintaining their full-time job responsibilities. The collaborative effort of top leading international business schools around the world makes IMM a truly international program. Students benefit from the global student body, faculty and residential sessions.
lFLEXIBLE SCHEDULE FOR GLOBAL WORKING EXECUTIVES
The IMM Program spans a 20-month period, beginning with a one-week orientation (Program Launch) in March of the first year. It is distinctive in that the subsequent instructional sessions are concentrated into five two-week residential periods, rather than following the evening or alternating-weekend class schedule format which is typical of traditional Executive MBA programs. This schedule makes it possible for participants to be drawn from around the world, and it eliminates the problem of potential interruptions in their education for participants who experience job transfers during the program.
lHOLISTIC LEARNING APPROACH
The program focuses on analytical techniques that are immediately applicable to the participant's work setting. Case studies and on-the-job managerial situations are key components. Learning and team work is continued off-campus through synchronized and unsynchronized Internet technology between students and faculty.
l  TWO MBA DEGREES
When you complete the program, you will receive two master's degrees: both from Tianjin University and Purdue University. The program is fully accredited by the AACSB International (Association for the Advancement of Collegiate Schools of Business).
lSTANDARD OF TUITION
Tuition is 55,000 Euro. Costs to include lecture textbooks, thesis guidance, and accommodation fees. Other expenses are not contained.

美国普渡大学  

美国普渡大学（Purdue University）是一所历史悠久的研究性公立大学，有政府特批的土地、海洋和空间使用权，历来以优良的教学质量和适中的收费标准闻名世界。该校于1869年由约翰•普渡捐资、印第安纳州划拨土地建造，现有3000名教师和38310名学生。(US News & World Report)全美大学排行榜上，普渡大学在公立大学中名列第23位。普渡大学有"旅游界的哈佛"和"美国航空航天之母"的美誉。普渡大学的校章采用狮身鹫首图像。

中国天津大学

1.七校联手共创IMM项目意味着什么？

2.我们的课时如何安排？
在每个模块开始时，老师提供一份教学大纲并附有该模块的所有作业。学生根据自己的时间表完成作业，然后以电子邮件等方式发给老师。这大约每周需要15-20小时。时间由学生选择。大部分作业是以小组为基础，由不同的小组利用各种网上技术准备、创建代表不同地区和功能的小组，以发展具有挑战性的创新解决方案。对于一些班级，还有以小组和班级为基础的在线讨论。

5. 住校期间在哪里上课？
我住在哪里？项目的巨大优势之一就是每次都在一个新的场所上课。

上课期间学生均入住酒店客房，几乎都在上课地点的步行范围内。如果步行不方便，校方会提供班车服务。
6. 是否需要面试？
学校一般要求至少一次电话面试，有时要求亲自面试。这一要求要视具体的学校而定，因此欲了解更多信息，请联系感兴趣的学校。
7. 申请何时截止？
我们一年四季接受申请，滚动录取学生。为了确保在入学迎新会前及时处理所有材料，建议于2月15日前向普渡大学的研究生院提交所有材料（大中华区报名学员，要求于1月底前将材料递交到天津大学管理与经济学部）。入学迎新会于3月中旬开始，录取的所有学生都要参加。
8. 项目的费用是多少？费用都包括什么？
项目费用为5.5万欧元。包括学费，所有培训期间的住宿费；培训期间的大部分膳食，网络/社交活动，班级材料，以及书籍/电子书。
9.我申请后，会发生什么情况（即是否获得录取的时间界限问题）？

1.  What does it mean that seven schools work together to create the IMM program?

One of the IMM program’s advantages is that seven leading schools pool their resources together to provide a unique, global experience. Another benefit is that each graduate earns a Purdue MBA and an MBA from Tianjin University. The seven schools represent some of the most competitive parts of the global economy: the EU, the USA, and emerging markets. Each school is a leading institution in its respective region.

2.  What are the assignments in between the residency modules?

At the beginning of each module, the faculty provides a syllabus with all homework assignments for the module. Students complete these homework assignments per their own schedules — evenings and weekends — and send them to the faculty electronically. This takes about 15-20 hours per week, but students choose the time and still manage to complete work assignments for their company, as well as have time for family. Most of the assignments between residencies are team-based and prepared by diverse student teams using various online technologies. The teams are created to represent different regions and functions to allow for development of innovative solutions to challenging problems. For some classes, there are also team and class-based online discussions.

3.   What are my fellow students like?

The IMM program was first launched in Purdue University, a world-renowned university in the United States, 20 years ago. The students will benefit from the global market, regional cultural cooperation and exchange. Recent in-coming classes have had between 35 and 40 students. About one-quarter are from the US, about half from Europe, and the rest from South America, Africa, and Asia. One-third have an engineering background and one-third have a management/business background. Our participants are experienced decision-makers with current or expected responsibilities in the global arena. They manage people, lead teams, run divisions or companies.

4.   How can I apply for IMM program if I am in Hongkong.Macao and Taiwan?

Tianjin University is the IMM project partner institutions in the Greater China region only. People in Hongkong.Macao and Taiwan are required to complete the registration in Tianjin University (or by way of phone).

5.   Where do classes meet and where do I stay while in-residence?

One of the great advantages of the program is that for each residency, classes meet in anewlocation.Currently,thegeneralorderoflocationsis:Orientation(Purdue),Residency1 (Tias/Nimbas,EMLyon),Residency2 (Hungary),Residency3 (Mexico andEBAPE,Brazil),Residency4 (Purdue),Residency5 (China),Graduation(Purdueand youradmittingschool).Students have individual hotel rooms during residencies and almost always are within walking distance of the class locations. If walking is not possible, shuttle service is provided.

6.   Is an interview required?

The schools generally require at least a phone interview and sometimes an in-person interview. This requirement is school specific, so contact the school of interest for more information.

7.   When are applications due?

We accept applications throughout the year and students are admitted on a rolling basis. To ensure timely processing and access to all materials before orientation, we encourage all materials to be submitted by February 15 to Purdue’s Graduate School (Applicants in the Greater China region please submit material to College of Management and Economics Tianjin University by the end of January), though later admissions can be processed. Orientation starts in mid-March and is required for those admitted to the program.

 8.   How much does the program cost? What does the cost cover?

The program costs 55,000 Euros. This covers tuition, lodging during all the residencies; most meals during residencies, networking/social events, class materials, and books/e-books. The primary expense for you would be travel. Payments are spread out over five installments.
9.   What happens after I apply? (Timeline of admissions decisions)

After you submit your materials, the admissions office of your school will confirm all items are in order. The materials are then provided to the Purdue graduate school, since all graduates receive a Purdue MBA. It generally takes two weeks from when all materials are properly submitted until a decision is made. Any delays associated with the application process typically result from an incomplete application or from transcripts not adhering to the admissions requirements.

10.    What does the curriculum entail?

The curriculum covers the principles of management within a global context. Core classes include economics, accounting, analytics, finance, marketing, strategy, operations, leadership, negotiations, law, and organizational change. You also will complete a consulting assignment where you can integrate the learning from classes with your own knowledge to solve a business problem and thus gain insights for your own company. The residencies also include cultural immersion and visits to local companies to better understand business around the world. During visits to local organizations, you meet with different decision makers such as CEOs, managing directors, politicians, and international experts. These interactions help make us one of the most international programs for executives.

11.   What are the qualifications for admission to the program?
To be admitted to the program, the applicant must have:

1. A bachelor’s degree and transcripts,

2. Solid post-baccalaureate professional experience,

3. A completed application, and

4. Two recommendations.

GMAT and TOEFL may be required, depending on your work/education background and strength of your application. You will work closely with your admitting university to ensure that the documents meet your school’s and Purdue’s requirements.
12.    How it Works？

As an IMM student, you will participate in five residency sessions in six different countries at IMM’s . Each residency lasts for two weeks. In between the residencies, you will take , or “distance learning” courses. The program takes 20 months to complete.
